Clear Recipe: A Step by Step
Grind Marijuana to consistency of coffee using food processor like a ninja.
Freeze ethanol to -0 to -50 in fridge.
Freeze cured marijuana to -0 to -50.
Pack insulated container with dry ice, set a second container flush inside.
Pour the ethanol into the second container. Use 8 ounces marijuna per gallon of ethanol 190-200 proof. Mark a line on the reclaim container about 5% below the level of the alcohol.
If doing leaf, 2-5 minutes, check for the material to turn a cloudy grey color. If doing bud, this process may extend to 45 minutes. Spin mixer softly frequently. It is possible to use kief for this, your plant material should not have the keif processed off, this is what makes your product.
Filter plant material through fryer filter first, then 25 micron pressing screen. Do not press plant material, let gravity do the work.
Let mixture get above freezing.
Put in Weed Witch, do not run higher than 174 degrees (on one gallon unit remove material when it gets at all over 174, evaporate remainder on low temperature double boiler).
When the reclaim container is 5% below the level of the alcohol. Reduce temperature of still to 120-140 degress, run until alcohol burns off, this may take a long time. With experimentation you will find the right time and temp to get the product you want.
(To get shatter do not refine mixture in above step, instead put mixture into vaccum oven at 80 degrees until material turns solid consistency of hard tacky hard candy).
